CITY COUNCIL ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF PALILULA MARKET PLACE

On the initiative of Palilula Municipality and many months of preparations, City Council of the City of Nis adopted on January 16 2012 the Project of reconstruction and sanitation-repairing of Palilula market. `This project of the reconstruction one of the oldest market places of Nis is the beginning of the adaptation of all city market places and it is expected that the works are to start with this spring. Beside, the traffic ring and parking space around this market of Palilula will be adapted in the other way`.

According to Novakovic, the president words, finally it will begin with the realization of this investment for which Palilula has provided all the necessary conditions in the cooperation with Public Enterprise `Trznica`, Nis. The project of the reconstruction was a present of a group of Nis architects while the part of money for this investment is provided from the donation sources-emphasizes Novakovic. In time of the works on the object, stalls for market sellers will be temporary dislocated in the very nearness of the market. The sellers will be situated in Cairska street beside the railway on the railway ground which will be used without compensations. Market tax will not be charged during that time.
